Our Facilities and Disabled Access:

Car Parking

There is a surgery car park to the rear or the practice. It is located via Grange Farm Avenue, drive  up the hill after the supermarket and turn right past the church and continue to the very end.

Patients use the car park at their own risk.

We ask that patients use the car park appropriately and safely, especially respecting the 3 xdisabled access parking slots.

Disabled Access Toilets

There are disabled access toilets in the surgery waiting room. These are located to the left of the main reception desk.

General Disabled Access

The practice and all consultation rooms are located on the ground floor. The kerbstones at the edge of the patient car park are suitable for wheelchair access to the premises. Unfortunatelycurrently we do not have automatic access doors however, disabled patients should feel free to phone reception and request assistance in advance of their visit. There is a path leading up to the surgery from Morrisons Supermarket which can be negotiated by powered mobility wheelchairs.

High Backed Chairs

There are a number of high-backed chairs with arms, suitable for patients who have limited mobility. These are located to the right of the main reception desk.

Patients with Impaired Hearing

We do have an induction loop system. Please advise the Care navigators at the tiem of booking if you are a hard of hearing as we also have a portable induction loop that can be used in the consolation rooms. We recommend that you take a seat on the right-hand area of the waiting room so that you will hear your name being called by the surgery staff as Haven Health does not have an electronic calling system.

Patients with Impaired Vision

We will try to provide any of our printed materials in a format which suits your visual abilities. Please let us know if you have difficulties accessing our materials and we will try to help.
