Simon Christie - Nurse Practitioner

 

Having qualified as a nurse in September 1995, Simon spent seventeen years in various Emergency Departments including 13 years in Ipswich emergency department.  In 2001 he started his training to become an emergency nurse practitioner.  He gained his non-medical prescribing qualification in 2014. He has since worked in primary care starting in Ipswich, moving to Haven Health in August 2020.

 

 

Sue Holmes - Lead Practice Nurse  

                                   

Sue trained at the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds qualifying in 1982. She then worked as a District Nurse for 13yrs. followed by working as a Practice Nurse at Haven Health for 14yrs. Since 2018 Sue has been the Lead Nurse at the surgery.

Sue specialises in Wound Management, Hypertension, Asthma and Infection Prevention.

 

 Sharon Brittain -  Practice Nurse    

                          

Sharon qualified as a nurse 2004 after completing her training in Ipswich. Prior to commencing work at Haven Health her career encapsulated The Emergency Department, Neonatal Unit and Critical Care. Since joining the surgery Sharon has completed a diploma in minor illness care and she is currently studying at Masters Degree level to be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner

 

Ann Murray - Practice Nurse

 

Ann qualified as a registered nurse in 1985, and has worked in a variety of settings-Butlin’s Holiday Camp in Bognor Regis being one of them!

Ann has been a practice nurse for over 20 years and joined Haven Health in March 2021. Ann specialises in Diabetes, Asthma, Travel Health and Childhood Immunisations. She also has a special interest in women’s health.

 

Tania, Jo and Stephanie - Health Care Assistants (HCA)     

 

They specialise in Blood Tests, Blood Pressure Checks, Health Checks, ECG's and 24hr ECG/Blood Pressure checks.
