Online Access

If you would like online access to your medical record please ensure you read the below leaflet and complete the registration form. Once you have returned your completed form to the surgery we will contact you to verify your ID and set up an online account for you.

For parents of children who would like proxy access. Please note, access to a childs account is withdrawn on the 11th birthday and will only be granted following the 11th birthday in exceptional circumstances with a GP's authorisation. The child can apply for their own access at 16yrs.

What can you do online?

Currently you can order repeat medication, see parts of you health record, including information about medicines, vaccinations and tests. You can also book and cancel appointments.

You will be able to use the NHS App for international travel to prove your Covid status.


The first time you set up your NHS login, you will need to prove who you are:

  1. Take a photo of your ID (passport, UK or EU driving licence, or European national identity card) using your phone.
  2. Record a short video of your face while you say 4 numbers, or use your camera to scan your face.

This is so that NHS digital can connect you to your NHS record and protect your health information. When you have completed this process, you will be able to use your NHS login to access websites and apps that show the NHS login button.
