                    Osteopathy at Haven Health
Osteopathy is not funded by the NHS and is a private service provided by Independant Private Practitioners who share Haven Health GP premises.

Registered Osteopath Beryl Churchman D.O. works from Haven Health.  Beryl grew up in Felixstowe and has been working for the last 25 years as an Osteopath.  She lives in Ipswich with her husband and 3 children and also practices from home.

Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions.  It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together. To an osteopath, for your body to work well, its structure must also work well.

So we work to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery. We use hands on therapy including physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. We may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery to promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.

The clinic is open to anyone and treatment charges are £38 per session. Most health insurance companies cover osteopathy including Bupa and AXA PPP. Your initial consultation will last at least 30 minutes, possibly longer.

To book an appointment please call the surgery on 01394 670 107, or for more information please call Beryl on 07801187636 or e-mail at berylchurchmanandassociates@gmail.com
