Offering and promoting online services-what we aim to do

"Our Statement of Intent"

The online services that we offer:

Referral management

We include your NHS number as your primary identifier in all correspondance issued by the practice.

Electronic / Online Booking of appointments

You can book , cancel and amend appointments online.

Electronic ordering of repeat prescriptions

We currently offer this facility

Summary Care Record

Elements of your care record are published on the "spine" (NHS secure network) so that other clinicians at other sites-such as hospitals can treat you-if required. Haven Health is connected and Summary Care Records are uploaded on a daily basis. If you wish to opt out of this please contact the surgery.

GP2GP Record Transfers

When you move surgeries, your records are transferred between surgeries electronically, thus reducing delays in your GP being able to access your medical record. Haven Health offers this service.

Patient Access to Records

We offer  limited online access to your medical record. At the present time, this is restricted to Your medications, allergies and immunisations.

The law allows for some variation with regard to the age of a patient and their capacity to give consent (Frazer competence). We will always act in the best interests of the patient concerned.
