Our GPs are not trained as dentists; the first port of call for any patient with dental problems should be a dentist.
In the event of a dental emergency, you should first attempt to get an appointment with your own dentist. If you are unable to do so, or are not registered with a dentist, NHS Suffolk has an emergency dental line on 0800 389 6819 which is open during normal working hours and can arrange for you to be seen by an emergency dentist. We will only be able to see patients with dental problems if the steps outlined above have been taken.

We recommend that you prepare for any dental problems by ensuring that you are registered with a Dental Surgery and have regular check ups. Regular and effective oral hygiene as well as diet and appropriate lifestyle decisions will aid you in maintaining good dental health. |
