Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the regulatory body charged by the government with ensuring that the services provided to patients at Haven Health meet with the 24 Essential Standards of Care laid down by Parliament.
Haven Health became registered with the CQC late in 2012 and is due to be inspected by the CQC from April 1st 2013 onwards. This will involve a visit to the surgery by a CQC inspector who will also be interested in talking to patients from the surgery.
On the day(s) of the visit an Inspector will be on the premises and will make himself or herself known to patients.
We apologise in advance for any disruption caused but we hope that our patients will appreciate the importance of this visit.
